Hi, I'm Marisha Aya. I am the artist behind Mari Illustrated. I'm an illustrator and a creative entrepreneur from New Zealand, currently based in London. I love to create playful, bold and colourful art and have worked on a wide range of projects from packaging, brand designs, logos to children's books. My work is known for its 'hand-drawn' whimsical look achieved using simple shapes, crisp lines, and bright colours.

My designs are inspired by my childlike wonder for the natural world around me, impactful people and our human drive to find joy and beauty in the everyday. I'm constantly seeking ways to infuse this joy into my creative practice and bring attention to all the places we can find it.

I strongly believe in the power of creativity to voice and challenge perspectives, to tell important stories and communicate effectively.

I take pride in my ability to adapt my style to suit the brand I'm working and to tell their story whilst maintaining authenticity in what I create.

With over 8 years experience in the design industry, my main goal is to create and work meaningfully, contributing to the betterment of the world around us with my art.
